A brief sample of PCT programmes EHS is currently involved in;

Cytology Programme

EHS is commissioned to reconcile GP practice data against central system, to create a "clean list" of patients eligible for Cervical screening. EHS used its all-female multi-lingual call centre to perform an patient contact strategy to over 10000 women.

Child Immunisation programme

Following a successful pilot project, EHS is commissioned to extract data from 200+ GP practices to review Child Immunisation data and reconcile against Child Health System data.

CVD Vascular Risk Assessments

EHS has been commissioned to perform various CVD programmes, ranging from GP data extraction and reconciliation to establish at Risk patients, to an active patient contact strategy - arranging screening for over 9,000 men.

Maternity Call Centre project

Providing central call centre facility for those women who require access to pregnancy services.

Dental health programme

EHS is commissioned to identify children between age 3-4 who have not yet attended an NHS dental appointment. EHS identified age cohort via GP system data, before calling the parents to schedule appointments for their children to participating Dental practices.

Diabetes Primary care programme

EHS was commissioned to extract data and create a "traffic light" system for identifying patients with potential risk of Diabetes from non-risk registers

Diabetes Risk Assessment Performance Tool

EHS is commissioned to develop and implement a Diabetes Performance Management Tool. EHS is also commissioned to install the tool into GP practice systems and to provide training and ongoing support.

EHS is working with a variety of PCT's and NHS organisations on research projects.

Smoking Cessation

EHS has recently been awarded a contract to follow up on a street marketing smoking cessation programme for an inner London Primary Care Trust.

Following a brief street interview with hundreds of individuals and the completion of a simple questionnaire EHS multi lingual call centre has been contacting those who expressed a wish to quit smoking. The purpose of each individual being contacted is to enable EHS staff to sign post potential quitters to a choice of local venues to enable access to further smoking cessation services. The results from all calls are reported back to the PCT.

Multi-lingual Call-centre

EHS is commissioned by PCT's to provide an out-of-hours (evenings and weekends) call centre facility. EHS also provides all-female call-centre services for women's health programmes.
